It’s official, and made evident by a myriad of examples now. It really only takes one person to change your life. I’ve only known Mia for a few months, and she has seen me through ups, downs, sides, slides, chutes, ladders, and countless other things that really matter. And at some point in between, I somehow became appropirately positioned to be there for her too. Somewhere I’m glad to be, with someone that I will know and love for a very long time.
Multi faceted, multi talented, visceral, intellectual, provocatively poised, and living a life of love, laughter, forward motion, and Rock n’ Roll, Mia Swier is undoubtedly a powerful force. She’s graced these pages several times. My favorite so far was the video she quickly put together called Make It. This is the kind of action that orbits Mia, and this is the kind of motion I try and surround myself with.
She’s a talented young film maker, the bassist and lead singer in a budding rock band, and a stalwart for her friends and family. Even in downtimes, she is the up for so many. Also, this page really doesn’t do justice to her film chops or her big love. If you want even better examples, let me know. We’ll see what we can do. The longer, juicier stuff isn’t online, but by God does it exist. The film and the love.
