The Symphony of Science.
This is for Natty, because when I posted something I thought may have been the best thing I’d seen in awhile, he didn’t think so. I watched it a few more times, and thought to myself, “Yeah maybe it’s not, like, SO cool, but it’s still super awesome. And I love the song!”
Then today happened. And I knew I couldn’t hide from the truth any longer.
THIS is the best thing I’ve seen in a long while.
Hits each nail on every head. Editing, sound producing, the wherewithal and aptitude to source the clips, the means, the message, the downright creativity, the love. Some truly amazing concepts, strung together to hold down the idea that we are truly all in this together.
Mom, do you realize what they did? They went back through all these clips, extracted the vocals form the videos, autotuned them with a digital piano in the computer in the key of the song, melodically placing the voices within this new song they created, then put it back into clips, and edited them together, changing speeds and pitches, tweaking as they went, to make it flow. It’s a lot of work, and what an end product.
